The Neighborhood Church in Atlanta, Georgia, announced that it will host the "Close to home" Advent series every Sunday.

In a Facebook post on Friday, November 26, the Neighborhood Church said it would hold an Advent series called "Close to Home" from A Sanctified Art LLC to help walk through the stages of creating and re-creating homes.

The post said the series would talk about what it feels like to be homesick and how to choose and create a new home available to all where God is closer to the people.

The Neighborhood Church said as the Advent starts, it hits close to home that affects them deeply.

According to the church, during the Advent and Christmas seasons, the people and the church journey together through delicate, emotional, and vulnerable scriptures and rituals.

It added that the people hold close to their hearts the memories and truths of this season.

The church encouraged the public to join every Sunday at 11 p.m. for the next four weeks, in-person and online.

New Church in Atlanta

According to its website, the Neighborhood Church is a new church in Atlanta, Georgia. Theirs is not a church that seeks to find out everything.

The church accepted many debates, inquiries, and hours spent sitting in the discomfort of life's difficulties.

According to the Neighborhood Church, everyone is trying to figure out how to live together. It is also thought that the church can have a role in this.

The church said it was built from the ground up to symbolize Jesus' love in a "ground-breaking, life-changing, and sincere" manner.

The primary purpose of the Neighborhood Church, according to its website, is to re-establish relationships with God and community. The church also declared that it is supports LGBTQIA+ people and opposes racism.

Neighborhood Church's Recording Music Video

People have also been invited to take part in recording a new music video by the Neighborhood Church.

The Neighborhood Church revealed on Facebook on Wednesday, October 27,  that their band was working on a new music video for their latest hit, which will be released early next year.

According to the post, the church is eager for the public to join in the ongoing campaign. They said no rehearsals are required. Making good music together will, however, be a requirement.
