The Neighborhood Church in Atlanta, Georgia, has asked the public for donations to raise funds for the Artist Relief Fund.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Dec. 30, the Neighborhood Church announced that the public can donate through this Facebook fundraiser or its website at neighborhoodchurchATL.com/giving.

According to the post, a generous donor had agreed to double the first $2,000 donated to the Artist Relief Fund through the end of the year.

The church also thanked the community for their effort to create a place for everyone that creates, supports, learns, and serves together.

The Neighborhood Church said it believed that God is the source of creativity, and when the people express themselves creatively, they are connecting with the divine spark that resides within each person.

Artists have kept people interested and entertained throughout these uncertain epidemic times, even when theaters, stages, galleries, and venues have been dark, making life and livelihood tough and insecure.

Atlanta Artists Relief Fund provides support and connections for all types of creatives, and we intend to gather cash to help them continue their work beyond 2022.
