Neighborhood Church in Atlanta, Georgia asked for volunteers to assist in watering and harvesting garden plots.
On a Facebook post on Wednesday, Aug. 10, the church said it needed help to keep its garden plots thriving.
At the front of the church, to the right of the orange doors, is a hose for watering plants, according to the church's website.
Neighborhood Church said they might use this to irrigate the vegetation beside the driveway (three beds). Behind the "silver giant" close to the playground, there is a second hose, it added.
It added that the hose can reach the garden beds along Mell Ave. However, it said that they may feel free to miss the watering time slot if it is raining.
Interested volunteers may sign up for a time slot on the church’s post and visit the website for more information.
