The Neighborhood Church in Atlanta, Georgia held a self-directed prayer in sanctuary on Good Friday.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, April 16, the Neighborhood Church announced that it gave a time of prayer from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Good Friday.
According to the church’s post, it featured a self-directed prayer at prayer stations in the sanctuary with accompanied space for stillness and meditation.
On this most serious of days, people are free to come and go as they want, the church said.
It added that they invited people to set aside time for prayer at home if they are unable to attend.

Maundy Thursday Picnic
On April 13, the Neighborhood Church hosted a Maundy Thursday picnic.
The Neighborhood Church scheduled a Maundy Thursday Picnic on April 13 at 6:30 p.m. in a Facebook post on Tuesday, April 5.
