In a Facebook post on Tuesday, April 19, the Neighborhood Church announced that it had a beautiful Holy Week or Easter celebration this past week.
The church also expressed gratitude to those who joined both in-person and online.
According to the church’s post, they are excited for the Easter season, adding that they want to see where it will continue to see resurrection pop up in unprecedented areas.
The Neighborhood Church also asked the public to post their Easter photos to continue sharing Easter joy with friends and neighbors.

Self-directed Prayer in Sanctuary
On Good Friday, the Neighborhood Church hosted a self-directed prayer in the sanctuary.
On Saturday, April 16, the Neighborhood Church advertised a prayer time from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. on the Friday before Easter
According to the church's Facebook page, the service included self-directed prayer at prayer stations throughout the sanctuary, as well as room for solitude and meditation.
People are free to come and go as they choose on this most solemn of days, according to the church.
If folks are unable to come, they are encouraged to set aside time for prayer at home.

Church’s Maundy Thursday Picnic
On Maundy Thursday, April 13, the Neighborhood Church organized a picnic.
On April 13, the Neighborhood Church will host a Maundy Thursday Picnic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, in a Facebook post.
According to the church, Jesus met with his companions the night before he was executed, shared a special dinner with them, and gave them a new commandment: to love one another.
The Neighborhood Church said the evening was honored with a potluck meal.
According to the Neighborhood Church, the public is also urged to bring something useful to share.
On Maundy Thursday, the church claimed they ate together, caught up, and conveyed love to the participants.
The event was placed outside provided there is no weather disturbance, according to the church, and everyone is invited.
