Artist Relief Fund

The Neighborhood Church has also appealed to the public for donations to raise funds for the Artist Relief Fund. The church said in a Facebook post on Thursday, Dec. 30 that the public can donate through its Facebook campaign or its website, neighborhoodchurchATL.com/giving.

A kind contributor has committed to double the first $2,000 donated to the Artist Relief Fund through the end of the year, according to the post.

The church also expressed gratitude to the community for its efforts to provide a space where people can create, support, learn, and serve together.

According to the Neighborhood Church, God is the wellspring of creativity, and when people express themselves artistically, they are connecting with the holy spark that exists within each individual.

Even when theaters, stages, galleries, and venues were dark, artists kept people interested and entertained, making life and livelihood difficult and unstable.

The Atlanta Artists Relief Fund provides resources and connections to all types of artists, and it hopes to raise funds to enable them to continue their work after 2022.
