In a Facebook post on Friday, Feb. 18, the Neighborhood Church said among these concepts are “restoration through relationship,” “community awareness and collaboration,” and “neighbors helping neighbors.”

According to the Neighborhood Church’s post, these are all concepts that they believe in their church.

The church said these are their guide in work and vision.

It also expressed hope that the public will join for a worship service or event soon.

In-person Worship Services

On Sunday, Feb. 20, the Neighborhood Church began its in-person worship services.

The Neighborhood Church reported on Facebook on Wednesday, Feb. 16, that in-person worship had returned this week due to a decrease in COVID-19 infections.

Since the number of COVID-19 infections in Atlanta has declined dramatically in recent weeks, the church's board has agreed that they can resume indoor worship together on Sundays at 11 a.m., according to the church's post.

Face masks and social distancing, according to the church, will continue to be required.

Those who are sick should stay at home, according to the Neighborhood Church.

They will continue to offer online worship if they are unable to attend in person or want to worship online for any reason.
