Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia expressed gratitude to everyone who came to “Make Your Mark Day.”
On a Facebook post on Friday, July 22, the church extended its gratefulness to the attendees of its event last Saturday.
Saint Mark United Methodist Church members of all ages and skill levels collaborated to ensure Saint Mark United Methodist Church continues to shine. They appeared to enjoy themselves while doing it from the parlor to the narthex and everywhere in between, according to the post.
The church said their efforts allow everyone to maintain spaces as hospitable and inviting as those who utilize them.

Mark Your Day
On Saturday, July 16, the Saint Mark United Methodist Church celebrated "Mark Your Mark" Day.
On July 16, starting at 9 a.m., the church met to work and have fun together until 12:30 p.m., the church stated on Facebook.
According to the church's post, there were projects accessible for persons with varying physical abilities and those aged 13 and older.
According to the church, the members worked for three hours to still enjoy the weekend and get to know Rev. Stephens as their new pastor.
Alternatives to on-site help were also discussed, the church said.
According to the post, this is a great opportunity for a group effort to recollect or honor someone who helped Saint Mark become what it is today.
To ensure that the volunteer teams get all the information they require, interested people are invited to RSVP to the Facebook event and complete the sign-up form, according to the church.

Rev. Carolyn Stephens has been welcomed as Saint Mark United Methodist Church's newest senior pastor.
The church sent a notice on Facebook on July 8.
In a post, the church's newest senior pastor expressed his joy at joining the Saint Mark community.
However, according to the church, she has decided to stay in isolation through this Sunday for her health and Saint Markers' health after contracting COVID-19 this past week.
Youth Mission Trip
The Saint Mark United Methodist Church youth group in Atlanta, Georgia, has announced a mission trip to Puerto Rico.
The Saint Mark United Methodist Church announced on Facebook on July 14 that its young people had just returned from a mission trip to Puerto Rico, where they had a blast discovering, learning, and serving.
The church said to be extremely proud of its young people because they are friendly, curious, interested, and, on top of it all, a lot of fun.
