The Shallowford Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia, has held a free community concert on Friday, Nov. 5.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Nov. 3, the Shallowford Presbyterian Church announced its free community concert held in the church's sanctuary at 7:30 p.m.
The church said the Shallowford's Chancel Choir, soloists, and professional instrumental ensemble presented a beautiful melody of songs of inspiration.
According to the post, the celebration featured cheerful music, healing, poetry, and a purpose to collect an offering for the International Rescue Committee of Atlanta.
The Shallowford Presbyterian Church said the uplifting event also opened people's minds and souls to the beauty and joy that music can provide, especially in difficult circumstances.
The event was open to the public, according to the church.

Church's Worship Service

The Shallowford Presbyterian Church has looked for volunteers for their annual "Trunk or Treat" event on Saturday, Oct. 30.
The Presbyterian Church asked helpers and volunteers for the annual Halloween event, according to its Facebook post on Saturday, Oct. 23.
The church also requested candy donations for the youngsters attending the event.
Meanwhile, interested donors can drop off the sweet treats at the church office or purchase them from the Amazon wishlist.
According to the Shallowford Presbyterian Church, participants were also invited to dress up in silly costumes and decorate their trunks.
