Shallowford Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia is set to hold classes called “Discovering Shallowford” for upcoming new members.
In a Facebook post, the church said the participants may "dive deeper into their faith" through the classes.
All who declare Jesus Christ to be their Lord, acknowledge their dependency on God's grace, and intend to actively engage in the church's worship and mission are eligible to join, according to the church.
On Sunday, Sept., class attendees will have the chance to join the church, it stated.
Participants may call the church office or send an email to info@shallowford.org for those interested in enrolling in the class, according to the church.
The church, however, urged website visitors who are not yet ready to join the church to look around the site to find out more about the numerous important ministries Shallowford has to offer.
They may also send an email to info@shallowford.org to sign up for the weekly mailing list and receive weekly e-communications, it added.

Outstanding Church Leadership
Throughout its history, Shallowford Presbyterian Church has been fortunate to have great pastoral leadership, according to the church's post.
After more than 10 years of service, Rev. Nesbit retired from Shallowford in 1970, the church sai Rev. Dr. Thomas L. Are replaced him, tirelessly serving Shallowford for more than 20 years before leaving in 1992, it added.
Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. C. Gray Norsworthy was appointed in 1994 and held the position until September 2008, the church stated.
In response to God's call, the Shallowford Presbyterian Church welcomed Rev. Christopher A. Henry as its fourth Senior Pastor in January 2011.
After more than seven years of service, Rev. Henry ended his ministry in May 2018, according to the church.
Shallowford Presbyterian Church said it is currently a robust, thriving, and friendly church with a long history of excellent educational, missionary, and pastoral care ministries.
It also stated that it has a reputation for having some of Atlanta's best music and youth programs.
While they give thanks for the past, they also look to the future, believing that God will provide opportunities for them to serve the community in ever-greater ways and to change the world in the name of Jesus Christ, according to the church.
The church said it hoped to be a "Place of Grace" forever.
Long History of Pastoral Care
According to the Shallowford Presbyterian Church's website, it is a strong, active, and friendly church with a long history of providing excellent pastoral care, mission, and educational ministries.
It added that it is also known for having some of Atlanta's best music and youth programs.
The church said it worshiped because a kind and loving God created the people and gave the gift of grace in the person of Jesus Christ.
Its worship is a joyful and obedient response to God's love, and it serves as a regular reminder to the people that God's majesty and mystery are beyond human comprehension.
