The Shallowford Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia, invited the public to join for a congregational meeting this Sunday.
In a Facebook post on Friday, Feb. 18, the Shallowford Presbyterian Church encouraged the public to join the Sunday worship at 11 a.m., then a following a congregational meeting.
According to the church, the installed pastors' terms of call will be approved, the 2022 budget will be received, and nominations for the new class of officers will begin during the service.
The Shallowford Presbyterian Church said the participants may attend in person or via Zoom online.
The church said the Zoom login can be found in the participant’s Friday worship email.

Shallowford Presbyterian Church’s Worship Service
The Shallowford Presbyterian Church hosted an online worship session in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak.
To help minimize the spread of COVID-19 infections, the Shallowford Presbyterian Church set guidelines for online worship and outdoor communions on Facebook.
According to the church, an online worship service was held on Sunday, Jan. 9 at 11 a.m. An outside communion was also held at 2 p.m., according to the church.
The public was invited to bring their own chair, dress warmly, and join the Shallowford Presbyterian Church for a 20-minute prayer and worship session.
According to the church, attendees were asked to park in the lower parking lot or along the perimeter of the upper parking lot and congregate under the portico in the top parking lot.
Meanwhile, the Presbyterian Church has announced that on Saturday, January 15, it would hold an online worship service.
An in-person service was held in the sanctuary on Sunday, Jan. 23, at 8:30 a.m. According to the announcement, the event will take place between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Only 150 people were allowed to participate, and they were compelled to wear masks and maintain social distance.

Church’s New Guest Organist
This February, the Shallowford Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia, welcomed its new organist.
The Shallowford Presbyterian Church welcomed William Fred Scott as a guest organist this month, according to a Facebook post on Thursday, Jan. 27.
Scott was immersed in the Atlanta music industry, according to the post, and has been a gift to the city since 1981.
The public was welcome to hear Scott perform in person or online on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m. February and March are the months to look forward to.
Scott was a former conductor and artistic director of Atlanta Opera, according to the Shallowford Presbyterian Church's website.
According to the church, he was also a former director of choral music at The Westminster Schools.
He was also a former conductor and artistic director at Chanticleer, according to the statement.
Scott was also a board member at Franklin Pond, according to the church.
