The Shallowford Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia has invited the public to pray for affected people in Ukraine amid Russian invasion.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, March 13, the Shallowford Presbyterian Church encouraged the public to join in Sunday worship to sing, pray, renew our strength, and recommit themselves to God's peace.
This week, the church's news feeds and people's hearts are heavy with images of damage, bloodshed, and terror from the Ukraine situation, according to the church’s post.
The church said they will convene on Sunday to meditate on Isaiah 58:1-12 in light of these visuals. God invites the church to worship with their lives, to "fast" in ways that glorify God and benefit the world's most vulnerable people.
