St. Paul United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia invites children to join Sunday school

St. Paul United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia invited the public to join the children’s Sunday school.

On a Facebook post on Saturday, Aug. 14, all kids from fourth to fifth grades were invited to join on Sundays at 10 a.m. on the third floor of children’s rooms for fun.

For younger siblings, the St. Paul nursery opens at 10 a.m., according to the church. 

The church said there will also be a coffee hour for parents in the fellowship hall.

St. Paul United Methodist Church hopes the participants will be there and come by.

Church’s History, Vision Statement

According to the website, Grant Park, one of Atlanta's oldest districts, is home to St. Paul United Methodist Church. 

The church said a t the intersection of Grant and Sydney Streets for more than 115 years, St. Paul has served as a center of prayer, community, and fellowship. 

St. Paul United Methodist Church said it was pleased to be a congregation with open hearts, minds, and doors as a member of the United Methodist Church.

"As searchers of the spiritual, they aspire to love, serve, develop, and worship Christ in a welcoming community of Faith," the church stated.

The church said the Reconciling Ministries Network, a nationwide group dedicated to giving all of God's children a seat at the table, includes St. Paul United Methodist Church as one of its members.

Simply expressed, they want to be a church that is a real reflection of the people and things in our community, according to the church. 

The church said they are invited to join in worship and get to know their neighbors.

Church’s Worship

In addition to worship services each Sunday at 10 a.m., St. Paul also provides a number of Sunday workshop hours, according to the church

The church said it always welcomes kids. A nursery is open for newborns and young children from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Starting at 10 a.m., the nursery is open, according to the church. 

The church said it is located in the back right corner of the gym's third floor. Infants and toddlers are the target audience for the nursery, it added.

 The church said that the lovely nursery staff loves to spend time with their little ones on Sundays.

Sunday school for kids begins at 10 a.m. in the gym. All little ones between the ages of 3 and 5 are welcome, according to the church.

The church's third floor of St. Paul houses the gym.

Beginning at 10 a.m., adult Sunday school is held in the Fellowship Hall classroom. Everyone in sixth grade and older is welcome, it added.  

The church said the second story of St. Paul houses the Fellowship Hall.
