Restorative Chair Yoga

On Thursday, Aug. 11, participants were given the opportunity to experience the transformative power of gentle flow yoga set to therapeutic music. The class was led by medical practitioner Tami White, and music was provided by award-winning artist Kelly Richey.

According to the post, Christ Church maintained that the events of the past half-century are the result of the decisions made by individuals throughout their lives.

It also stated that the choices they make in their daily lives are the root cause of many of the most prevalent chronic health issues they experience, including heart disease, diabetes, obesity, COPD, and increased cholesterol.

The church also thought that chair yoga activities assist individuals in cultivating healthy lifestyles that bring an element of wellbeing to their regular routines.

The post also revealed that the benefits of chair yoga include improved balance, flexibility, and strength, as well as a reduction in stress and the ability to assist in the decrease of anxiety.

In addition to fostering mindfulness and improving overall well-being, the practice of chair yoga can also help reduce pain and boost mobility.
