About Dean Strong
Strong is a multifaceted individual.
As an author, Strong has written several published works apart from “A Bible and A Badge.”
This includes “Strong's Common Man Commentary on Jude,” and “Jesus Jumpstart,” as well as numerous articles for various magazines.
But apart from his writing career, Strong has the diverse vocational experience, having worked as a pastor, teacher, youth leader, police officer, and corrections officer.
He is a commissioned Community Service Chaplain and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
He is also an active member of the Lion's Club International and his local Kiwanis Club.
Moreover, Strong hosts a weekly radio program called "Message Minutes."
Strong holds an MA degree from the Cincinnati Seminary in Ohio and a BS degree from Lee University in Tennessee.
He also holds an AA degree from Northwest Bible College in North Dakota, as well as a teaching diploma from the Evangelical Teacher Training Association.
Strong graduated from Tates Creek High School in Lexington, Kentucky.
