Every Nation Cincinnati Church will support "Dressember" to raise funds for anti-human trafficking efforts. Starting Thursday, Dec. 1, they will start doing fundraisers for the campaign.

Supporting Dressember in Anti-Human Trafficking Efforts

Every Nation Cincinnati Church is a Dressember advocate, and as such, they invite members of the community to develop their own campaign page under their own team.

According to the church’s announcement, the participants will then make a commitment to raise awareness and finances for the cause of human trafficking by dressing up and wearing a dress or tie every day during the month of December. 

As members of the church's team, they will assist participants in developing strategies for communicating this information to their families and friends.

Dressember simultaneously allocates resources to organizations that focus on prevention, advocacy, intervention, and survivor empowerment. They take into account the evolution of systems and address the underlying causes.

Dressember said it is dedicated to organizing this community so that it can have an overall positive influence. 

They are able to take on the problem head-on from a variety of perspectives thanks to the funds raised through fundraising activities. This is in contrast to contributing money to only one component of the work that is being done to combat human trafficking.

According to the organization, Dressember empowers the general public with the tools necessary to fight for the dignity of all people, which ultimately results in the protection and liberation of millions. 

Since 2013, they have been able to raise $16M towards this struggle, which has helped tens of thousands of victims, survivors, and communities that are at risk.

They learn the locations with the greatest need and the communities that are facing the highest levels of vulnerability through collaborative interactions with subject matter experts, survivors, and leaders working in the field.

Per the website, Dressember selects the most effective organizations that are performing this work and then invests financially in those organizations in order to assist those organizations to increase their impact.
