Highland Methodist Church in Fort Thomas, Kentucky launches the Bluebird Christian Preschool. The program aims to help children grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually through age-appropriate activities in a non-denominational Christian setting.

Highland United Methodist Church is home to Bluebird Christian Preschool, which serves as one of the church's ministries. 

From its humble beginnings in 1968 as a children's story time, Bluebird has developed into a flourishing preschool that now provides programs for children ranging in age from two up to pre-k.

According to the church post, in order to help children grow socially, emotionally, academically, physically, and spiritually, Bluebird provides a loving non-denominational Christian atmosphere in which they can participate in age-appropriate activities. 

Every child in their care is taught Christian principles, morals, and a love of study.

Children begin learning foundational skills in the 2's program and build on them as they proceed through preschool.

It also stated that reading and writing readiness abilities and kindergarten readiness skills will be emphasized in the later grades. Even though Bluebird has a strong academic focus, the program is designed to be age and developmentally-appropriate.

As per the post, Bluebird Christian Preschool takes great delight in assisting children in the formation of morals and values that will serve them well throughout their lives. 

They base their teaching on various passages of scripture and stories from the Bible that are meant to teach fundamental Christian concepts like the Golden Rule.
