The Village Church in Hamilton, Ohio will hold its first women’s retreat on Friday, June 23, at Woodland Lakes Christian Center. 

Unity Retreat

The Village Church will host its first retreat for women called "Unity." It invited the community to come by the church to spend two nights there to get a good night's rest, and connect with Jesus and with one another.

According to the announcement posted on Eventbrite, the topic that will be emphasized is unity and why a call to oneness was Jesus' most sincere desire and plea to the Father before He went to the cross.

The members of the The Village Church have the conviction that they are going to turn their attention away from themselves and toward the Father, who is the one who invited them to become a part of the body of Christ.

The total registration fee of $150 covers everything from food and housing to fees and a t-shirt to wear during the retreat.

There will be two distinct colors of t-shirts available for participants to choose from. They can view the available shirt alternatives by clicking on the hyperlinks that are contained within the color names. The other color is coral, while the other is green. 

Those who are interested are suggested to take a look over the options and select one when they register.

The Woodland Lakes Christian Camp & Retreat Center is committed to providing a secure and encouraging atmosphere for its campers so that they may develop not only spiritually but also socially, emotionally, and physically while taking pleasure in the natural beauty that God has provided.

According to its website, campers are given the chance to understand themselves better, their relationship to God, and the people in their lives in order to better apply their faith in day-to-day living situations.

With its 425 available beds, Woodland Lakes can host gatherings of any size. The more modern Pioneer Lodge can accommodate 125 people, and Buckeye Cabin can accommodate 64.

Aside from this, all 24 of their cabins in Cedar Village include beds, and guests have access to a community bathroom. Recreational options at their disposal include a lake for boating and swimming, a large swing, a climbing tower, a high ropes course and zipline, and more, as stated.

Members of The Village Church are expected to fulfill their role as disciples of Jesus by initiating, cultivating, and multiplying additional disciples who will go on to produce more disciples. 

Throughout the week, they come together and break apart as a community of believers in order to encourage one another in their walk with Christ and send one another on missions together.

According to the website, they believe that the diverse organizational structures of local churches are a reflection of the freedom that the Scriptures provide us to mobilize the people of God for ministry, and they hold this belief. 

Nevertheless, The Village Church discovers in the New Testament that there are three separate local church roles: elders, deacons, and members.
