Trinity Episcopal Church in Covington, Kentucky, will hold the "Electric Revival Youth Lock-in" on Saturday, Feb. 18.
Electric Revival Youth Lock-In
Trinity Episcopal Church will host its annual dance party, called "The Electric Revival," will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18, in downtown Covington.
The church invited junior and senior high school students to attend. It said they would have the opportunity to shake off those midwinter blues with twenty-four hours of music, worship, camaraderie, and plenty of that late-night power music electric revival.
According to the church’s announcement, the celebrations are scheduled to start at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, and will continue until 9 a.m. on Sunday.
In addition, the church will continue its efforts to collect hats, gloves, and socks for the Emergency Cold Shelter in Northern Kentucky. During their annual Cult Classic Film Festival, they will be accepting votes from the group this time around to decide which movies will be screened.
Each time a participant makes a contribution to the shelter, they will be awarded an additional vote.
Per the announcement, participants are strongly urged to bring along comfortable clothing, a sleeping bag, a pillow, musical instruments, playing cards and board games, boogie shoes, a donation, and $20 to assist in defraying the costs associated with their participation.
2023 Supper Groups Forming
The signup period for the 2023 iteration of the Trinity Supper Groups has begun and will continue until Sunday, Jan. 29.
As stated in an announcement, Supper Groups are informal get-togethers of up to four couples or individuals, but lone diners will also be welcomed.
The event involves taking turns in hosting a meal at least once during the course of the year. It can be held in houses, restaurants, or parks.
