Vineyard Cincinnati Church will host a "Divorce and Beyond" seminary on Saturday, Jan. 21, at the church’s Student Union Building, at 8:45 a.m.

Divorce and Beyond Seminar

Vineyard Cincinnati Church advised that anyone who has recently been divorced, is going through the process of divorce, or has already been divorced attend the seminar.

The church said it is aware of the range of emotions that can be triggered by divorce, including feelings of rejection, anger, fear, isolation, betrayal, guilt, and helplessness.

According to the post on Eventbrite, emotions have a way of making people believe that the situation will never improve or evolve into something more favorable.

During this period, it is essential to obtain a healthy perspective by figuring out the source of the feelings. This will help them to take the measures necessary to move on with their lives and make progress.

As stated by Vineyard Cincinnati Church, the topics are discussed in an atmosphere that is both safe and encouraging during the Divorce and Beyond session. People are seated at tables, and opportunities to share are presented to them, all while being guided by an experienced leader.

They came to the conclusion that the optimum place to have these preliminary conversations was in an environment that was gender-specific. However, the optional support groups that meet after the seminar, as well as the workshops that take place during the seminar, are open to both sexes.

Vineyard Cincinnati is able to gain knowledge from one another because of the fact that each support group is led by both a male and a female facilitator.

According to the post, the seminar will include topics like the recovery cycle, loneliness and forgiveness, transition, and developing a new style.

They also offer a kid care program while their parents are attending the seminar, as Vineyard Cincinnati Church believes that divorce affects children.
