2022 Kingdom Leadership Conference & Symposium
From Wednesday, Feb. 16 to Sunday, Feb. 20, The R.O.C.K. in its Broadway Campus, located at 4101 Broadway in Houston, will be expecting many church leaders to gather in one place for this year’s conference.
According to its Eventbrite page, Leading Forward is the church’s theme for the conference.
As explained, participants at the event will learn “how to lead their followers forward in the new, unfamiliar, and uncharted context” through the pandemic. They said that the pandemic has truly been detrimental to most churches across the world.
Besides teaching about the effects of the pandemic, speakers at the event are also expected to talk about changing the traditional church leadership styles.
They aim for participants to learn how to adapt to the sudden changes caused by the COVID-19 restrictions.
In its announcement’s latter part, the church also mentioned that the pandemic has “re-shaped” churches and that leaders should make changes.
To join the upcoming The R.O.C.K. conference, participants and guests are encouraged by the church to register online for the general admission ticket.
As said, the tickets are free, but they need to sign-up first on their official website.
Speakers Lineup
Based on its official website, several speakers are invited to the conference.
The first one will be the conference host and the founder of The R.O.C. K, Apostle Dana Carson. As said, the apostle has been in service for over 37 years now.
As reported, Carson is recognized as one of the “nation’s foremost Kingdom theologians and down-to-earth pastors.” He will be speaking on the last day of the conference on Feb. 20.
Meanwhile, the first speaker scheduled on Feb. 16 is Dr. Jamal Bryant. He is a civil rights activist and visionary who combines Biblical teaching and political insight to talk about worldwide issues.
On the next day, Bishop Randy Borders will lead the conference as the “anointed preacher.” At 12, the bishop gave his life to the Lord and started working at 15 in Missionary Baptist Church.
On Friday, Feb. 18, one of the daughters of late Dr. Angie Ray, founder of Angie Ray Ministries, will be joining the conference. Pastor Kimberly Ray is the current producer of a televised program called ‘A Time of Intercession.’ She is reportedly a “standard-bearer and feminine warrior in the Gospel.”
Joining Dr. Carson on the final conference date is his wife, Pastor Rachelle Carson.
Served in Texas State Legislature for nearly ten years, Pastor Carson is now an executive pastor at The R.O.C.K. who oversees other staff pastors in the congregation. Aside from that, she also handles responsibilities as senior editor in Dana Carson Kingdom Ministries, Intl. (D.C.K.M.).
