Hope Church to 'Pursuit Night' on Thursdays

Hope Church will host "Pursuit Night" every Friday at 7 p.m. throughout March.

The church’s Facebook page encouraged its members to join them for a night of prayer and worship as they discover what God wants them to do in pursuing Him.

Besides, they highlighted the verse in Matthew 7:7-8 which says, “Ask, and it will be given to you, seek, and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you.”

In the Scripture, they noted that anyone who asks God would give them, those who seek would be found, and God will open the door for those who knock.

Beliefs of Hope Church

The church’s website explains the Statement of Belief of Hope Church. They believe that everyone who believes in God should passionately expect and sincerely seek the Promise of the Father.

As further mentioned, they should seek baptism in the Holy Spirit. They stated that it could help believers be filled with the power of life, service, and the bestowment of the gifts as they use them in the work of the ministry.

Moreover, Hope Church believes this experience could be unique after knowing the New Birth.

In addition, they regard the church as the holy Body of Christ. They added that it is where God dwells through the Spirit. Hope Church thinks God set a divine appointment for the church to fulfill the great commission.

According to them, each of those who believe has a significant role in the church. They said that God had written their names in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Besides, Hope Church beleives that God has called them to be ministers to help other people reconcile with God. They emphasized that all of them are ministers of the Gospel of Jesus through their talents and simple service for others.

Worship at Hope Church

In another section, Hope Church highlighted its way of worship. They noted that their team is committed to offering a place that invites the presence of the Holy Spirit.

They mentioned that they are focused on offering genuine and sincere worship. The church firmly believes authentic worship is more than just a set of chord arrangements, vocal effects, and energetic lighting.

According to the church’s website, genuine worship comprises a real relationship with God as people surrender to His will and presence.

Moreover, Hope Church stated that they perform many updated, contemporary worship songs. But they also love to sing old hymns in a modern way.

They mentioned that people would be able to have fun with a variety of music styles during their worship experience at Hope Church. They added that they also have a very talented technical team.

Besides, they emphasized that the team offers audio, lighting, and live streaming.

Small Groups at Hope Church

The Small Group section noted that the Hope Church aims to lead people closer to God. They want to help them grow in their connection and knowledge of Jesus, from college students to seasoned citizens.

In addition, the church believes that God intends people to live and mature in a community with others. They said they provide various opportunities for discipleship and spiritual formation to meet each person’s needs.
