A teenage girl in Houston, TX, recently died after getting into a "bad wreck" on Beltway 8 near I-45. Despite the incident, the parents of the 17-year-old girl decided to leave all their worries in the name of God.

Beltway 8 Accident

On Friday, Oct. 15, ABC 13 exclusively talked with the parents of the teenage victim, Soulayah Anderson. Solomon and Sabrina Anderson expressed their sadness over the death of their daughter.

As reported, the young girl was heading to her mother's house after spending time with his father. Unfortunately, the accident happened in between her travel.

Investigators in the scene said that the younger Anderson was driving in her car when she blocked two lanes of traffic in the ramp. After getting stuck in the ramp, the high school junior student decided to jump over.

She first thought that she would survive the crash. It turned out the victim did not know there was a gap in between. As reported, Anderson "jumped over and hit the ground."

Before the incident, Anderson's boyfriend was reportedly talking to him on her phone. Luckily, when the accident started, the boyfriend heard everything to help Anderson.

He immediately contacted his parents, who called Anderson's parents to check out their daughter. Anderson's father, Solomon, told the report that he witnessed his daughter's dead body lying on the ground when they arrived.

Meanwhile, his wife and the victim's mother, Sabrina, were told not to look anymore. The mother said to ABC that when Solomon said that to her, she lost it.

By the time she immediately knew that her daughter was no longer alive.

'There's Always Good in What He Does'

Despite his daughter's horrible death, Solomon still kept his faith in the Lord. He said in the interview that he still thanked God for bringing life to his daughter for a short time.

He added, "Try to find the good in this [accident]. There's always good in what He does."

Anderson's father also remembered her by saying that his daughter was "very goofy and very silly" when she was alive. He also shared that Anderson would always smile whenever she woke up and "went to sleep with one."

So far, there is still no information on how the victim's car got stuck on the ramp.
