On its page, it says that the Grace Church Houston is a "non-denominational church in Houston, TX, faithfully led by Pastors Garrett and Andrea Booth."

It calls itself a God-centered church where people can grow together, find purpose, and make a difference in the community.

The church has a multi-part vision for its future, and one of these is to become a church wherein people understand that it is a daily commitment.

Grace Church Houston is also dedicated to training leaders to create new churches and ministries.

As for beliefs, the church believes in the triune God as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Further, it believes in Jesus Christ, His birth, sinless life, sacrifice, resurrection, and ascension. Also, it is only through Jesus that people can receive salvation, not by any actions.

When it comes to the Bible, the church believes that it is the "nfallible, authoritative, eternal Word of God." It also believes that the men who wrote the Bible were moved by the Holy Spirit and that through this that it is without error.

As for the church, it believes that it is the body of Christ with Jesus Christ as the Head. As such, it is the mission of the church to love God and people in accordance with the Great Commission.

When it comes to ordinances, the church follows the New Testament practices of water baptism and Holy Communion.

It believes that these acts, even though not required for salvation, are necessary for one's demonstration of faith and obedience to Jesus Christ.

The church also lays out its beliefs when it comes to marriage and family. It believes that the sacred union is between one man and woman, and thus, any other definition is contrary to the teachings of the Bible and the will of God.

Grace Church Houston's History

According to its page, the church's roots can be found in 1983 when Pastors Steve and Becky Riggle answered their new calling to start a non-denominational church in Houston.

Then known as the Grace Community Church, it started with 12 people at the Clear lake Intermediate School. Over the years, the church grew, and in 2004, it purchased the site where it stands today.

After serving the church for more than two decades, the Riggles went on to become the founding pastors of the church and the lead pastors of the Grace Woodlands. Further, they are now the leaders of Grace International.

The Riggles would pass over their duties to Garrett and Andrea Booth as the new lead pastors.

Today, the church stands as one of the biggest churches in the area and continues to expand to reach more people in the community to provide outreach and prayer.
