Magnolia Bible Church to open child care center early next year

Magnolia Bible Church is about to open a preschool early next year, scheduled on Jan. 10. As reported, the project will open as a licensed child care center that will house students ages 18 months to 5 years, as of Aug. 16.

They will learn Christian education, essential life skills, and socio-emotional lessons inside the center. 

According to Impact Newspaper, the preschool is located at 31611 Nichols Sawmill Road, Magnolia. There will also be pre-opening events so parents or the family can tour the school. These events will take place on Nov. 23, Dec. 17, and Dec. 22. 

What to Expect

The church works with staff and elders that share the essence of Bible learnings. It gives Sunday worship services that accommodate families for authentic worship. 

Magnolia Bible Church child care center's opening has scheduling options that the parents can choose from. The daycare starts from 7 am until 6 pm from Mondays to Fridays. For specific days, the school begins entertaining inquiries at 8:30 am to 2:30 pm for all ages.

The website said that the school has a low teacher-student ratio, a life-long learner curriculum, and a weekly chapel emphasis. Also, there is a summer program for students up to second grade and dedicated staff to assist the kids.  

Pre-opening Events

On Friday, Dec. 17, the Parent's Night Out-Christmas Edition will happen from 6 pm to 10 pm. It is open for kids aged 18 months to second grade. Each child attendee must pay $10, and the whole family is charged with $20. The promo also offers pizza dinner and a movie night.

Another event coming up is the Christmas Drop and Play on Dec. 22, 9 am - 12 pm. This event is for ages 18 months to 6 years. It involves Christmas crafts, games, and more fun in the preschool rooms. The parents can pick the kids up at noon or stay or leave the children there.

Programs For The Children

Magnolia Bible Church gives services to kids of different grade levels. They have programs that will teach the kids about the Gospel on varying schedules. 

Children from birth to 4th grade attend the MBC Kids program. It creates an environment for children that introduces Christ while having good relationships with friends and teachers. Together with the parents, they work together to build their connection to God.

Kids from 5th to 6th grade meet in the library for Bible study every Sunday at 10:45 am. On the other hand, the 7th to 12th-grade students attend the Breakfast Club at 8:47 am, complete with Bible study and a meal.

Other than these programs, there is one like Boy Scouts. Called the Trail Life, it is a Christian alternative to the said activity. It is offered to boys aged 5 to 17 who wants to volunteer, become a leader, or troop member. Trail Life is held at the MBC library every Monday at 7 pm.
