About Abundant Church
As shared on its Facebook, Abundant Church is at 3986 Humbert Rd., Alton. Worship services happen on Sundays at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. It also holds services on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The church aims to live an everyday Jesus life. Such life expresses that everyone is loved, valued, and belongs. It works to lead people into an authentic, life-transforming relationship with Christ and others.
As stated in its creed, the church fears losing opportunities rather than creating mistakes. Abundant Church considers its community a laboratory where every task is an experiment.
Moreover, Abundant Church believes it would be research and development if God’s Kingdom had departments. It embraces truth and strives for relevant ways to proclaim it and live it.
It works to be known for what it stands for than for what it opposes.
The church believes that no one can worship God for someone or like someone does. It celebrated individuality. It values everyone as precious creations in the eyes of the Lord. The Abundant Church, like Christ, delivers love to others even when they don’t deserve or expect it.
It is religious about its relationships, adding improving its community as one of its priorities. Furthermore, the church believes the whole Bible is the truth, saying abundant Jesus is the main thing.
The church said everyone’s destiny is among their priorities.
As shared on its website, the church embraces Jesus Christ’s Paradoxes; to be first is to be last, to give is to receive, to be weak is to be strong, to lead is to follow, to be vulnerable is to be strong, and to give up your life is to live it.
Men’s Breakfast
The Abundant men will gather again for breakfast and fellowship. Men’s Breakfast is a recurring event, which, this time, will be held on Saturday, Feb.11, at 9 a.m.
The church invited all men ages 13 and up to join Pastor Chilly in the Abundant Church Café. There will be a complimentary hot breakfast at the Super Bowl from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
The church requested all to wear their football attire, and registration will be open until Thursday, Feb. 9.
