Chesterfield Presbyterian Church partners with Crates for Ukraine to deliver medical supplies

Chesterfield Presbyterian Church partners with Crates for Ukraine to provide aid to the war-stricken areas of Ukraine. The church will collect donations of medical supplies at its address until Aug. 19, Friday.

Chesterfield Presbyterian Church, Aid 

Chesterfield Presbyterian Church announced that its outreach partner of the month is Crates for Ukraine. As shared on its Facebook page, the partnership aims to collect and deliver medical supplies in the war-inflicted areas of Ukraine. 

The church encouraged everyone to donate medical supplies to fill a crate that it will send to churches and displaced communities in Ukraine.

It church asked all to visit their webpage to find a link to an Amazon wish list to buy supplies. 

The church’s website provided more details about the outreach. As stated on the website, all donations should arrive at Chesterfield Presbyterian Church until Aug. 19.

Those interested in donating should send all items to Crates for Ukraine c/o CPC 15037 Clayton Road Chesterfield, MO. 

Crates for Ukraine 

“Your help. Their hands. “ is the banner of Crates for Ukraine. 

According to its website, the mission of Crates for Ukraine is to provide personal and humanitarian aid from churches in the United States to the churches and displaced communities in Ukraine. 

Crates for Ukraine started because of the request from Ukrainian Church and national partners to bring support to people in war-inflicted areas in the country.

As stated on its Facebook page,  the church’s address is 15037 Clayton Rd., Chesterfield. Sunday worship services are at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

CPC is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America, one of the fastest-growing Christian churches in the U.S. for the last few years. It states that its denomination is conservative and progressive.

The denomination is conservative in theology. It is committed to the absolute authority of the Bible. 

It believes in the historic doctrines of the Christian faith, and that salvation is offered to humankind by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

At the same time, it is progressive in that we are anxious to share the good news of eternal life with God in Christ with others, to make disciples, and creatively apply biblical principles to both societal and personal issues.

Campus Outreach Partnership 

Chesterfield Presbyterian Church established a partnership with Campus Outreach. The church does not simply consider Campus Outreach as a partner. Instead, the church recognizes its partners as one of its parts.

Together, they reach out and minister to students in local universities. 

The Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, AL, established Campus Outreach in 1978. 

Since its establishment, Campus Outreach has expanded to over 23 regions by partnering with local churches worldwide. Meanwhile, it started its work in St. Louis when The Journey Fellowship invited a team from Campus Outreach to minister on some local college campuses in 2011. 

Campus Outreach St. Louis became under the stewardship of Chesterfield Presbyterian Church in 2020.
