According to the official website of ABC News, Christian Representative Cori Bush of St. Louis will be releasing a memoir this Fall of the year 2022.
This autumn, as per the same website, she will release a memoir in which she will detail her personal challenges, years of activism, and her decision to run for governor in 2020 when she became the first Black woman elected to Congress from her state.
On the same website, it is also stated that she bravely lays bare her experience as a minimum-wage worker, a survivor of domestic and sexual assault, and an unhoused parent in 'The Forerunner,' a raw and poignant tale that is unique for a politician.
The book, as per the same website also serves as a "call to action for political leaders to prioritize the concerns of excluded populations." Bush, a Democrat up for re-election this autumn, disclosed her book agreement on a financial disclosure form in 2021 when her memoir was still called "The Cori Chronicles" and had no release date.
It is also stated on the same website that Bush is a nurse and activist, rose to national prominence as one of those protesting in Ferguson, Missouri, when a white police officer fatally shot Michael Brown, an 18-year-old Black man, in 2014.
Cori Bush, as stated on the same page that if exposing her experience helps others in positions of power better understand how their decisions affect normal, everyday people like her, then her own self-exposure is worthwhile.
According to the same website, she is telling her truth because she feels compelled to risk her mind, body, and reputation to ensure that their communities receive the assistance they require. She thinks that by being candid about her personal path, she may be able to help others who are in similar situations.

According to her official website, Christian Congresswoman Cori Bush is a certified nurse, a community activist, an organizer, a single mother, and an ordained pastor serving the people of St. Louis.
She is Missouri's first Black woman and nurse, as well as the first woman to represent Missouri's 1st Congressional District and the first Black Lives Matter activist elected to the United States Congress, according to the same website.
According to the same website, Congresswoman Bush is serving her first term in the United States House of Representatives as the representative of Missouri's 1st Congressional District.
On the same website, it is also stated that the Emmett Till Legacy Foundation honored Congresswoman Cori Bush with the 2015 "Woman of Courage" Award. Congresswoman Cori Bush was also voted Top Nurse by the International Nurses Association in June 2019.
