Christian Congresswoman Cori Bush has visited the Urban League Campus to ensure that the Black Communities across the region are getting the support they needed.
On her official Twitter account, Congresswoman Bush has tweeted her visit to the Urban League Campus in the north of St. Louis with the organization’s President Michael P. McMillan to examine how they can effectively collaborate to benefit Black communities around the area.
Also mentioned in the same tweet is that their cooperation is important to ensuring that St. Louis has access to the resources it requires.
Congresswoman Cori Bush
According to her official website, Christian Congresswoman Cori Bush is a certified nurse, a community activist, an organizer, a single mother, and an ordained minister serving the people of St. Louis.
Congresswoman Bush, as mentioned on the same website, is spending her first term in the United States House of Representatives as the representative of Missouri's 1st Congressional District.
It is also mentioned on the same website that she is Missouri's first Black woman and nurse; the first woman to represent Missouri's 1st Congressional District, and the first activist from the Black Lives Matter movement elected to the United States Congress.
