Concord Church of St. Louis in partnership with Butterfly Haven Foster Care is seeking donations for the children of St. Louis.

Concord’s Mission Center

According to the official website of Concord Church of St. Louis, Concord's Missions Center showcases a variety of local, national, and worldwide missionary possibilities. Whether someone wants to give monetarily, donate particular things, volunteer in the neighborhood, or go on an overseas mission trip, there are many alternatives accessible here for one to explore.

Based on the same website, before and after Sunday services, as well as during weekday office hours, the Missions Center is open, and one of their mission includes Butterfly Haven Foster Care.

On the same website, it is also mentioned that there are some items one can drop off at Concord’s Mission Center such as twin sheets and blankets, shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion, and other hygiene and essential things that are commonly used by children.

As stated on the same website, if others would not be able to give any item, they can also give online on the official website of the church or by issuing a check with the name of the ministry on the note line.

It is also mentioned on the same website that there are other ways to help the church achieve its mission to help the children in Butterfly Haven through the following ways:

  • One can volunteer at 8505 Mid County Industrial Drive, they are needed to sort contributions.
  • Make a donation to help fill the pantry and resource room.
  • Help with special events like birthday parties, family outings, Christmas parties, etc.
  • Groups and classes can also help by hosting no-sew blanket parties, or
  • By sponsoring a birthday celebration for a youngster for $30

Butterfly Haven Foster Care

It is stated on the official website of Butterfly Haven that foster children and families that have gone through a crisis are served by this organization. The organization serves families throughout the St. Louis metropolitan region, as well as St. Charles, Lincoln, Franklin, and Jefferson counties.

On the same website, it is also mentioned that volunteers run Butterfly Haven, Inc. As a result, their resources are only available by appointment in the evenings and on weekends. They make every effort to react to all messages and referrals as soon as possible.

According to the same site, food, clothing, bedding, dressers, hygiene products, diapering essentials, and particular baby gear are always on the organization’s list of needs. They also offer meals for foster families in the event of an emergency, so they are constantly on the lookout for non-perishable foods.
