Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood invites the youth to the upcoming All Youth Retreat from Aug. 26 to 28, Friday to Sunday, at Lake Williamson.
Reckless Love Theme
As announced on Facebook, Concordia Lutheran Church will hold the All Youth Retreat 2022 with the theme "Reckless Love." The church is encouraging the youth to attend the three-day retreat.
Concordia Lutheran Church also announced that it is a chance to meet more than 150 of the youth's closest friends. It stated that All Youth Retreat 2022 is a weekend of community, worship, and fun.
The retreat is an annual event for the 6th until 12th grades. According to Concordia Lutheran Church, All Youth Retreat 2022 is a fantastic way to kick off the school year.
It will be packed with community building, rope courses, basketball, ping pong, lake swimming, and a bonfire. Participants will also have time for worship and interactive learning.
The activities will happen for All Youth Retreat 2022 at Lake Williamson. Registration is open until Aug.14, Sunday.
Youth Groups at Concordia
As per its website, Junior Youth caters to kids in Concordia's 6th to 8th grades, their friends, and the bigger community. The group meets throughout the year at different times.
One of the monthly activities for Junior Youth is IMPACT Nights. As shared on the website, these happen once a month.
Junior Youth play games, build community, and study the Lord's Word during IMPACT Nights.
Registration for IMPACT Nights is required.
The Senior Youth are the students from the 9th to 12th grades of Concordia. Bible Study for girls in small groups happens on Wednesdays.
The group will meet beginning Sept. 15, Thursday, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Concordia. It aims to dive into the daily struggles of Christian living.
The church encourages its youth to bring a friend.
The LCMS Youth Gathering, on the other hand, was held for a week on July 8 to 15. Concordia Lutheran Church invited its youth to join in the gathering.
It was a time when the church joined thousands of youth in Houston, Texas.

According to its Facebook page, the church's address is 505 S Kirkwood Rd., Kirkwood. Concordia Lutheran Church was founded in 1874.
It describes its faith community as being blessed by gifted pastors, teachers, staff, lay leaders, and members.
Concordia's mission is to touch people with Jesus Christ for healing and service. It welcomes all of all ages and backgrounds.
The church offers both contemporary and traditional services. On Saturdays, traditional service happens at 5 p.m.
Meanwhile, on Sundays, traditional services are at 8 a.m., while contemporary services are at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Rev. Stephen Bongard serves as the Senior Pastor of Concordia whereas Rev. David Meggers is the Associate Pastor for Adults & Older Adults.
Brendan Knorp is the Director for Worship Arts, and Larry Watson serves as Church Business Administrator.
