Cornerstone Christian Church will host a workshop for families interested in foster care on Monday, Jan. 23.
Foster Care Workshop
Cornerstone Christian Church invited all interested to learn more about foster care in a one-day workshop called "Restore Network Fostering 101 Workshop," as shared through the church's website.
The church said it would walk alongside families to understand foster care better.
It encouraged all to join others as they explored how the Lord leads them to respond to the foster care crisis.
Cornerstone Christian Church assured all families that they would not be judged, pressured, and not rushed about becoming foster parents.
Instead, they will get all their questions answered when they attend Restore Network Fostering 101 Workshop. Furthermore, they will leave with an understanding of how the foster care system works.
Lastly, they will not regret coming to this workshop.
Restore Network Fostering 101 Workshop
According to its website, the Foster & Adopt Workshop is designed to provide honest and transparent answers to everyone with their most pressing questions while teaching the basics of foster care and how the Restore Network can help.
Furthermore, the Restore Network was established to help the church respond to the foster care crisis. It works with frontlines in the foster care system through long-standing partnerships with court staff and child welfare agencies.
The Restore Network is a privately managed organization. As stated on its website, as the organization responds to the foster care crisis, it remembers that each one is created in the image of God.
Therefore, every individual has dignity, goodness, and humanity within them. It values the life of each person. It served the Savior who delivered compassion to the lost and hopeless.
