Faith Family Life Church serves as venue for

Faith Family Life Church will host two events this weekend, just in time for Father's Day. It invites all for Praise and Brunch on June 18 and a Father's Day service on June 19. Both will happen from 11 a.m.

Praise and Brunch

As announced on Eventbrite, Praise and Brunch will be on June 18 at Faith Family Life Church. It will be a time for live worship, excellent food, and fellowship.

As stated in the announcement, Praise and Brend is starting a new trend of "Brunching" with worship.

This event is a chance to join in live worship with local talent and fellowship over food. Praise and Brunch will feature Pastor Damon Mitchell of St. Luke AME Church in E. St. Louis.

He is a national recording artist known for his songs "Things are About to Change" and "Winner Off" from his album "Blessed." Pastor Mitchell is scheduled to release his second album this year. He is a classically trained pianist and a songwriter.

St. Luke AME Church's motto is to "Love God. Love People." Sunday services happen at 10:30 a.m. The Bible studies are on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. and Thursday at 11 a.m.

According to its website, St. Luke AME Church was established in 1880. It is the second oldest congregation found in the city of East St. Louis, Illinois. Its number one goal is to grow the Lord's family.

Moreover, as stated on the webpage, this church is focused on loving the Lord and His people. The church assures everyone that its doors are open for all.

St. Luke AME Church holds the Bible in the highest esteem. It honors the Bible as the Word of God.

Faith Family Life Church announced through Facebook that it would hold a Father's Day Service and Brunch on June 19. It invites all fathers to join for service and brunch.

Faith Family Life Church will also have 90 - minute worship on June 19 at 5 p.m. Worship Unplugged will have Prophet Korey Mickey as a guest speaker. Pastor Ray Watson will be the host.

As shared on Facebook, this faith community is serving families and changing communities. It encourages all to come and grow with them and experience a life-changing service.

Faith Family Life Church is located at 2241 Country Rd., Belleville. Early this June, this church had its Fellowship Trip.

They rented a charter bus and headed to see "Jesus" at The Sight & Sound in Branson, MO.

The group dined at Lambert's, and as shared on Facebook, they had a fantastic time and a wonderful experience. According to Faith Family Life Church, the Fellowship Trip was life-changing.
