Foster Together Christmas

Faith Oakville reaches out to local foster families. It partnered with Foster Together to connect and provide individualized gifts for each family member. The church provided details through its Facebook page

Foster Together Christmas gives everyone opportunities to support local foster families. As shared on Facebook, Faith Oakville offers this chance to all to help deliver joy to these families this Christmas.

According to the church, many of these kids arrived in foster homes without possessions. It asks all to consider sharing Christ’s love with these kids and foster families.

Faith Oakville, through Foster Together Christmas, provides three ways to bless these children and foster families. The first option is to participate in person.

One must choose a specific gift tag from the tree in the church’s lobby. Then, they return to Faith Oakville with their unwrapped gift and tag. These gift tags are available for pick up in the Faith lobby through Sunday, Dec. 4.

Anyone who wants to participate in Foster Together Christmas can also directly donate online through Faith Oakville.

Another way to participate in Foster Together Families is by purchasing a specific gift from the Foster Together Amazon Wishlist. When they select the Foster Together Christmas Project shipping address, Amazon will deliver these gifts to Faith Oakville.

According to its website, Foster Together helps and equips kids and families in the foster care system in the St. Louis region. It was formerly known as South County Foster Closet. A group of moms in St. Louis established it in March 2018.

Foster Together started by collecting clothing and babies. These items were to be sorted and given to foster care kids for free.
