High Hill Christian Camp of St. Louis has opened the registration for adult volunteer applications this 2022.
High Hill’s Volunteer and Faculty Application
It is stated on the official website of High Hill Christian Camp, that they are delighted and grateful that there are people who would want to volunteer at the camp this coming summer.
Also stated on the same website that they appreciate the fact that there are adults that are interested in investing in the lives of High Hill’s campers.
There is an important note on the same website that reminds volunteers to contact the dean assigned to the specific program they wish to be part of if someone is planning to attend the volunteer programs before actually registering.
In line with that this contacting the dean before attending request by the church is done for two reasons: 1) it assists the camp in ensuring that their housing numbers are proper, and 2) it guarantees that the camp has adequate support for the session while keeping their camper to adult ratio appropriate.
Referring to the same website, the list of programs with the contact information of the dean assigned are both available.
As mentioned here are some of the programs volunteers can join:
- Day Camp,
- First Chance Camp,
- Kick Start Camp,
- Camp 23,
- Camp 45-1,
- Camp 45-2,
- Junior High 1,
- Junior High 2,
- High School Camp, and
- Any other camps
Those who have chosen a camp to join and have contacted the dean can now proceed to register which is also available on the same website.
High Hill Christian Camp of St. Louis
According to their official Facebook page, High Hill Christian Camp & Retreat Center is the ideal location for a fantastic retreat, church vacation, or summer camp.
On their official website, they claimed that they believe that according to the Bible, Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God who died for His people’s sins and was resurrected from the dead.
High Hill also believes that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. While all people are valuable in God's eyes, all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. The remission of sins and the promise of eternal life are offered to anyone who believes Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, according to the Bible.
In line with that, they also believe that repentance of sins, confession of trust in Jesus Christ, and baptism into Him are all required steps in becoming a Christian. The camp also believes that the church is Christ's body on earth, and it exists to rescue the lost and edify the redeemed, and it is enabled in this work by the Holy Spirit.
Referring to the same website, ever since its humble beginning in 1954 with a desire to have a camp that was easily accessible to area churches, they are now servicing roughly 50 member churches and host over 1,000 campers and an additional 200 volunteer professors each summer. In addition, the camp has evolved into a year-round retreat and rental facility.
As per the same site, the camp believes that every year, God uses High Hill as a place of communion in nature for a large number of people.
