Market Ave. Church of God hosted Soul Sunday for friends and family day on Sunday, Feb. 26.

The church’s Facebook page announced it was an excellent opportunity to hear from the Market Avenue Friends and Family choir. They revealed that all members in the past and present members joined the event.

Connection for Kids

The church’s website highlighted the Learning Our Value Everyday (LOVE) Kids program. They explained that they offer children secure, fun, and educational ministry. They emphasized that they desire to educate them more about God’s identity.

In addition, the church stated that they offer programs to help them understand the value of their lives and how they could apply God’s words in their lives in creative and memorable ways.

Moreover, they mentioned that they lead the kids through interactive teaching, helping to set up close-knit small-group classes. They explained that they wanted to guide the children to understand their genuine connection with God clearly.

As further noted, the church desires the children to know the Bible in an exciting way that matters. They said they wanted them to be informed that they could enjoy and have games at the church.

More importantly, they wanted the children to realize that worship could be full of loud songs and silly dancing. The website emphasized that the church aims to let the children know life is enjoyable in God’s presence.

Connection for Women

Meanwhile, the same website pointed out that Market Ave. Church of God offers Heal, Encourage, Affirm, Redeemed, Treasure (HEART) ministry for women members.

They said that they are committed to dealing with the needs of ladies with a “Heart of Gold” while encouraging and supporting them. As the website explains, they want to achieve their goals through fellowship, friendship, and mentorship.

As further stated, the church seeks to enrich the spiritual life of ladies, encourage personal growth, and relate to them within their congregation. They added that they want them to understand their spiritual responsibility.

Besides, they posted that HEART women’s ministry loves gathering for bible studies, sharing from their hearts, and strengthening each other. Also, the church holds retreats and other programs throughout the year.

Connections for Men

According to the same website, Striving To Reach Others Never Giving Up (STRONG), Men is the church’s ministry for male members. They pointed out that they want to support men in the building and leave a legacy.

The church offers opportunities for men to accept God’s saving grace and forgiveness through their discipleship and fellowship. They added that they allow their male members to serve The MACOG and the Kingdom of God.

In addition, the church believes that nothing is impossible with God, so they aim to empower the Christian character of men. They added that they encourage personal and spiritual development through Jesus Christ.

More importantly, Market Ave. Church of God seeks to deal with the needs of the Body of Christ by offering a positive male presence. They said that they want their male members to take the lead in supervising their church’s grounds.
