Parkway United Church of Christ invited everyone to a workshop on Thursday, Oct. 8. It will host the Reboot Vitality workshop through its Vitality Team 2022.
Reboot Vitality, Review
As shared on its website, Vitality Team 2022 will lead a workshop to reboot and review the Vitality Process, which started in 2017.
Parkway United Church encouraged the council, ministry coordinators and team contact members, commission conveners, ministry participants, and all interested to join the workshop.
The church encouraged new members and visitors to attend the Reboot Vitality workshop. It will start at 9 a.m. with donuts, coffee, and juice. The meeting will be held at 9:10 in the morning.
The team will open the workshop by sharing introductions, reviewing the history of Vitality, discussing Vitality celebrations over the years, and brainstorming ideas.
Then, participants will break out into two separate groups for discussion.
Reboot Vitality workshop will end with sharing of ideas. Parkway United Church of Christ invited all to come and share its spirit.
Drag Queen Bingo
Parkway United Church of Christ will hold its annual Drag Queen Bingo. The church announced details through its eNews. It is on its third installment this year.
Drag Queen Bingo fundraiser aims to support the National Open & Affirming Coalition of the United Church of Christ and AllianceQ of the Christian Church Disciples of Christ.
It will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Drag Queen Bingo is a hybrid event with Zoom or an in-person venue at Parkway United Church of Christ.
A registration fee of $25 is required to join the Drag Queen Bingo. The cost will cover 5 Bingo cards.
Registration started on Monday, Sept. 5, and will be open until Wednesday, Oct.12. Separate email address is needed to receive the Bingo cards.
Parkway United Church of Christ will serve pizza and salad to in-person participants. Drag Queen Bingo will feature Desiré Declyne.

According to its Facebook page, Parkway United Church of Christ aspires to be an inclusive congregation with the Lord's grace. The church welcomes all, regardless of their ethnic or socio-economic backgrounds and race.
Parkway United Church of Christ respects differences such as gender, marital status, age, sexual orientation, and mental and physical ability. Furthermore, it works to be an agent of justice, love mercy, and walk in humility with the Lord.
The congregation invited all to share in its journey of leadership, ministry, fellowship, worship, sacraments, and responsibilities. Moreover, it asked all to share the blessings of participation in its open and affirming congregation.
One may visit the church at 2841 N Ballas Rd., St. Louis. Parkway United Church of Christ started its congregation's faith journey in November 1838.
The congregation began with a small flock of German immigrant farmers. Reverend Louis Nollau, a former missionary among Native Americans, led the group. They established the German Evangelical Church, Des Peres.
It began having Sunday worship at homes or in other churches.
