About St. Nicholas O'Fallon

According to its Facebook page, St. Nicholas is a Roman Catholic Church in O'Fallon, IL. Its exact address is 625 Saint Nicholas Dr., O'Fallon. As per its website, the parish is a servant church.

The Giving Tree is among the causes it supports. It is a long-standing tradition at St. Nicholas. This is the church's way of giving Christmas gifts to needy families. St. Vincent De Paul referred most of the beneficiaries of the Giving Tree.

The families are usually the ones they support throughout the previous year. Parishioners, school counselors, and assisted living managers also nominate a person or family who might be alone at Christmas or need help with their everyday needs.

An angel serves as a gift request hung on the Giving Tree the weekend before Thanksgiving. St. Nicholas O'Fallon encouraged parishioners to grab a nametag or two from its Giving Tree. It informed all that they would return gifts to the Parish office by Sunday, Dec. 11.

St. Nicholas O'Fallon extended its gratitude to its parishioners for their generosity. Another of its missions is supporting its sister church in Guatemala.

Volunteers donate food at the church's Soup Bus. St. Nicholas O'Fallon cooks this food and gives it to people in need. Additionally, the church serves at Cosgrove's Kitchen by cooking the food donated by volunteers.

Sunday Mass is celebrated at 8:30 a.m. On the other hand, Mass is at 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
