Trafficking 101 (1–3 hours): This workshop will provide learners with an overview of human trafficking by employing TCH data and case studies. Participants will also investigate the vulnerabilities of prospective victims and our options to act. This course teaches participants how pimps entice children and teens into a life of human trafficking.
Vicarious & Secondary Trauma: A Sensory Strategy (3 hours): This course is intended to educate people who work with children who have experienced complicated trauma. Participants will get a greater knowledge of trauma, the impairments that may occur as a result of it, and ways for managing these behaviors.
Responding Therapeutically (1 hour): Healing survivors of complex trauma necessitates the collaboration of various disciplines. Youth who are serviced will not fall through the gaps if we all play in our allotted positions. Our function as therapeutic helpers is motivated by compassion; nonetheless, each job serves a distinct purpose. It is critical to validate the customer and get them to the right person for the job.
