The Gathering Church of St. Louis is holding its first session of their The Women’s Collective on Feb. 17 discussing the relationship between Mary and Martha after its kick-off event on January 27.
The Women’s Collective: Mary and Martha
According to the official website of The Gathering Church, they know that women have a horrible reputation for being catty or antagonistic against one another, and if they are not cautious, people will adopt this caricature.
It is also mentioned on the same website that alternatively, the church may be serious and focused on establishing healthy relationships in general and with other women in particular, and how this affects their connection with Jesus.
The Gathering has mentioned on the same site that this is the reason for this year’s women's collective theme “Woman to Woman”. Based on the same site, for this first session after their kick-off event, the group will discuss the connection between Mary and Martha at 7 p.m. in their Clayton Site Bemiston. For those who want to join virtually, Zoom links will be supplied.
As stated on the same website, this social time will be both inspiring and informative for all of the participants of the said events.
Those who are interested to attend the said event are advised to register on their official website.
The Gathering’s Women Collective
According to their official website, this year's Women's Collective will be themed "Woman to Woman”. The purpose of this gathering is to bring people together to honor the scriptures, tales, and communities.
As mentioned on the same website, they plan to gather once a month to discuss how women's tales in the Bible might be seen in new ways and what lessons can be learned from these stories in regard to each and every person's life.
According to their website, this women's club wants to create a community for women where they may share and discover possibilities, such as gathering information about future events, learning about ways to contribute, and hearing encouragement from other women.
According to their website, anybody can attend this event in person or online using Zoom. They'll be focusing on biblical stories about women and their connections with one another for this year's theme.
The Gathering Church of St. Louis
It is stated on their official website that The Gathering is meant to establish a compelling Christian community for future generations. They were founded in 2006 by Matt Miofsky, who thinks that churches may be distinct.
Their website also states that they have a tremendous desire to create a good change not just in their area, but throughout the world. Their vision of bringing new generations of people together to serve and worship Jesus Christ, not only in our town but across the world, grows clearer as the years pass.
It is also mentioned on the same site that The Gathering is a relaxed, energetic, and inclusive community where everyone is welcome. People will discover fantastic surroundings for kids, students, and adults, with inspiring teachings, diverse worship, and some of the best people they will ever meet.
