The Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens to host scavenger hunt for Epiphany celebration

The Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens will celebrate the Epiphany with a scavenger hunt on Sunday, Jan. 8, at 11:30 a.m.

Spiffy Epiphany 

The Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens informed all to join other Webster Gardens families in its Epiphany celebration called "Spiffy Epiphany," as shared through its website

The church said it will welcome everyone to Spiffy Ephinay, a free event, featuring a scavenger hunt that will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the gym. There will be five different scavenger hunt spots in the area, which are within a few miles of the church.

Families will receive their next clue and a treat at each spot. 

Moreover, pizza will be served and the program also includes fellowship.

It added all participants must follow the clues in the community to complete the scavenger hunt.

The Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens requested all interested in joining the event to register. It provided a link for registration.

The church expressed excitement about seeing families at the Spiffy Epiphany. Additionally, it shared that everyone could enjoy appearances from a couple of its special guests, "Spiffy Epiphany and The Wise Men."

There will also be a photo booth available to everyone. All participants will return to the church to see photos from the event.

The church prepared some raffles with fun prizes.

It added expects the Spiffy Epiphany event to wrap up around 1:30 p.m.

Furthermore, it believes that God the Father created the universe and humanity. He continues to provide and protect His creation, and that Jesus Christ is God’s only Son. 

It added that Christ is a true man and a true God, who suffered and died on the cross to save man from their sins.

They said Jesus e rose again at Easter and lived and ruled in heaven. 

The church also invited to its Webster Connects kick-off lunch on Sunday, Jan. 15, from 11:45 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

According to The Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens, Webster Connects would be an excellent opportunity to learn about its culture and values. 

It added it would be a time when all attendees could create relationships, meet the pastor, discover a place to connect and identify their next steps of commitment. The church invited all to take their children to Kids Class and join the Webster Connects event in Classroom B.
