The Rock Church of St. Louis

The Rock Congregation's official Facebook page states that they are a multi-ethnic, multi-generational, and multi-site church.

The church believes that Christ-followers are persons who are cultivating three basic connections in their lives: a meaningful relationship with God, a relationship with and understanding of others, and a relationship with themselves, according to their official website.

The church also believes that people may help and support God's people by participating in a number of events and activities. Learn more about The Rock Church of St. Louis' events and activities by visiting their official website for a list of upcoming events.

Core Beliefs of The Rock Church of St. Louis

The Rock Church has nine main principles, according to its official website:

  • God. According to the church, He is the Creator and Ruler of the cosmos. He has always existed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in three separate personas.
  • People. People were formed in God's spiritual image to have the same personality as He has. People are believed to be God's most significant creation and devotion.
  • Eternity. Humans were created with the ability to live endlessly. They will either spend forever separated from God as a result of their sin, or they will spend eternity with God as a result of forgiveness and redemption.
  • Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus lived a sinless human life and died on the cross to provide the perfect atonement for all people's sins.
  • Salvation. God bestows redemption on humanity as a gift. A person enters eternal life the moment he accepts Jesus Christ into his life via faith.
  • Security forever. Salvation is sustained by God's goodness and strength, not by the Christian's own efforts. God's grace and preserving power provide this assurance.
  • The Holy Spirit.
  • The Bible. For Christian beliefs and living, it is the ultimate source of truth.
  • The church’s mission. The authentic church is made up of all people who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit through saving faith in Jesus Christ and are united together in the body of Christ, of which He is the head.
