Core Beliefs of The Rock Church
The Rock Church has nine main principles, according to its official website:
- God. God, according to the church, is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has always existed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in three separate personas.
- People. People were formed in God's spiritual image to have the same personality as He has. They are God's most significant creation and devotion.
- Eternity. Humans were created with the ability to live endlessly. They will either spend forever separated from God as a result of their sin, or they will spend eternity with God as a result of forgiveness and redemption.
- Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus lived a spotless human life and offered Himself as the perfect atonement for all people's sins by dying on a cross.
- Salvation. God bestows redemption on humanity as a gift. Self-improvement or good deeds will never be sufficient to atone for everyone's transgressions.
- Forever Security. According to the church, Christians are guaranteed everlasting salvation since God promises eternal life via Jesus Christ. God's kindness and power sustain salvation, not the Christian's own efforts.
- The Holy Spirit. They believe, is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by convicting men, regenerating believing sinners, and indwelling, directing, educating, and strengthening believers for godly life and service in this age.
- The Bible. The Bible believes that God's Word is for everyone. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.
- The church’s mission. The authentic Church, according to the church, is made up of all people who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit through saving faith in Jesus Christ and are united together in the body of Christ, of which He is the head.
