Transformation Christian Church runs the Transformed Made Free Ministry to help men and women win struggling with addiction.
The church’s website noted that the organization allows them to experience a lasting transformation in their lives.
Transformation Outreaches
According to the same website, the Transformation Christian Church seeks to change lives through the power of God’s Word. They explained that they are very dedicated to reaching out to everyone within their capacity.
In addition, the church highlighted the Scripture in Mark 16:15, wherein the people of their outreaches are ready to spread the Gospel to all creation.
They added that in Matthew 25:35 to 40, the disciples feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and visit the people in jail and those who are sick.
As further posted, the church members support the community with job assistance and preparation. Also, they said that they offer gently used clothing, non-perishable snacks, drinks, and more through their free store.
Moreover, the website noted that they help those needing help with high school equivalency.
One of its outreach ministries is the Transformed Made Free Ministry, as posted on the website.
Transformed Made Free Ministry
In another section, the church explained that Transformed Made Free Ministry is a nondenominational Christ-focused program. They stated that it is open to men and women who suffer from different kinds of addiction and seek lasting change in their lives.
As further mentioned, the church’s ministry has a broader approach to addiction and goes beyond its focus on drugs and alcohol abuse. They noted that they also deal with all vices, such as sexual sins, cigarettes, gluttony, gambling, and emotional scars.
The website emphasized that these issues prevent a person from living a winning life.
More importantly, they stressed the Scripture from John 8:31 to 32, wherein Jesus says that if people remain in His word, they are called His disciples. Jesus said the truth should set them free.
Power of Biblical “Truths”
Transformation Christian Church mentioned that they take a step-by-step process to train participants with the truth of God’s word in their needs. Then, they equip them to implement those “truths” in the Bible.
The same website said this approach could help them dismantle bondages and cure emotional and mental pain that has impacted their lives.
According to them, the church would use six Biblical truths, such as Christ-centered support and fellowship. They would also be accountable so participants could gain practical resources to help them win over temptations.
Effects of Drugs on Mental Health
On the Oregon Trail Recovery website, individuals' drug and alcohol abuse could affect their brains. They explained that they could have mental health issues like paranoia, depression, anxiety, aggression, hallucinations, etc.
As further explained, psychological distress related to substance abuse could range from mild to severe. The website noted that the issue that caused the other is unclear, but the relationship is strong.
More importantly, they added that individuals dealing with mood or anxiety disorders are about twice as likely to suffer from a substance abuse disorder.
