Texas Youth Summit

According to the Texas Tribune, the Texas Youth Summit was held at Grace Woodlands Church. The summit is dedicated to teaching and promoting conservative activism to the younger demographics. This 2022, the summit's slogan is "to be the catalysts to win the Culture War."

The Texas Youth Summit is an event founded by Christian Collins, a former political staff. The event was made possible through sponsorships and donations. It was also free for anyone aged 12-26 years old, as long as they got a referral from an adult.

As for the slogan, Collins commented that it pertains to a "metaphorical war for the battle of ideas." Collins added that the event is not for attacking people's identities but for addressing conservative issues.

The two-day event featured lectures and small groups by politicians and political groups. This includes Senator Ted Cruz, Donald Trump Jr., Candace Owens, and more.

The article also mentioned the appearance of U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, who is currently facing controversy with allegations of sex trafficking and relations with a minor.

In his speech, the representative asked the students and young people to be more active when it comes to their political action online and offline.
