The Houston Astros Nation recently released a newly-designed shirt with a tribute for the so-called 'rally nuns.'

Proceeds of the 'Rally Nuns' T-shirts will reportedly go to the nuns as Astros fans' way of giving back to them.

"Oh, my. Sisters on a shirt? People would actually wear that? We're so impressed," shared Dominican Sister Marie Therese.

Jacob Morgan of Houston Astros Nation reportedly designed the shirt. The shirt's design boasts three nuns within a home plate and the words' rally nuns.'

Rally Nuns Shirts

According to an ABC13 report, The Dominican Sisters of Mary Immaculate Province were 'forever immortalized' in a T-shirt designed by Houston Astros Nation.

The merch proceeds will reportedly help in the Dominican Sisters' mission.

Designer Morgan shared how, after watching the games and noting how the nuns had become a sensation. After that, they at the Houston Astros Nation reportedly conjured up ideas on how they could give back to the nuns.

Morgan further expressed plans to donate the sales of the shirts to the Dominican sisters.

The report cited how the nuns gave much to the community and Astros fans with their support.

Now, Morgan says they will not be making money off the shirts.

Instead, he hopes to "give it back to the church and have them do what they need to do with it." On that note, Dominican sister Therese shared how they felt humbled over the initiative.

"We're very grateful that people would donate proceeds to us," expressed sister Therese, adding how the donations would help with their mission.

The Vietnamese-Dominican sisters reportedly have over 100 members serving throughout the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.

The sisters reportedly serve in 15 archdiocesan schools, three home-health agencies, and ten parishes.

Single Catholic women, ages 18-35 with the "desire to make history with the sisters in loving and serving God through preaching charism" are welcome to join them.

Meanwhile, Jay Matlock, administrator of Houston Astros Nation's Facebook group, shared how the shirts have become a hit among the fans.

"Everybody says, 'Where do you get them?'" Matlock said, further revealing the shirts are available on HAN STORE ONLINE

Bringing Nuns to World Series

A related story from ABC13 further noted how Gallery Furniture owner McIngvale aka 'Mattress Mack,' negotiated with the Mother Superior to bring the 'rally nuns' for another Astros game.

McIngvale previously sponsored the nuns, and once again, the Astros opened the World Series. He shared how the game took place on a weeknight when the nuns had their class planning.

"I was a pretty good salesman," insisted him, who shared ahead of the game how the rally nuns would 'cheer and pray for Houston Astros' at the World Series.

Rally Nuns

In October, the Dominican Sisters of Mary Immaculate Province earned their nickname as 'rally nuns' after appearing at two previous baseball games at Minute Maid Park.

Fans believe 'rally nuns' helped Astros rally to a victory—their ticket to the World Series.

The Boston Pilot shared how the Dominican Sisters returned for Game 1 of the World Series sponsored by McIngvale.

Dominican Sister Mary Catherine Do even threw the first pitch of Game 6 of the ALCS.

She joined members of the Archdiocese who have done so--including Cardinal Daniel DiNardo and retired Archbishop Joseph A. Fiorenza.

Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament also participated with the Dominican Sisters in supporting the Houston Astros at the World Series.
