Ability Ministry of St. Louis is encouraging everyone to get involved in their ministry by showing one’s support by shopping for their needed items in the ministry.
Ministry’s Needed Items
According to their official website, there are a lot of different ways one can get involved in the ministry, and one of those is through shopping for their needed items.
Their residential group facilities, New Hope and Riverwood, based on the same website require a large number of supplies and commodities on a regular basis.
It is also mentioned on the same website that many people have inquired about what goods they most urgently require, so they have compiled a want/need list on Amazon. People may purchase these things and have them transported straight to New Hope or Riverwood.
In addition to this list, their residents like eating out on occasion, which is why gift cards to KFC, Domino's Pizza, Texas Roadhouse, Chick-Fil-A, McDonald's, Arbys, Pizza Hutt, Cheddars, and Sonic are also appreciated.
Some of the items listed on their wishlist on Amazon’s online store are board games and other stuff that the kids can use during their leisure time such as puzzles, Guess Who game, beads for jewelry making.
Based on the same wishlist, there are also some stuff needed for cleaning, bathing, and other hygienic items. Foods and some snacks are also included in the same wishlist.
To know more about the other ways one can help the ministry with their needs and would want to be involved with their day-to-day mission, just visit their official website and other social media accounts.
Ability Ministry of St. Louis
According to their official Facebook page, their primary mission is disability ministry training and empowerment for churches, families, and persons with disabilities.
Based on the same Facebook page, Ability Ministry has three goals: 1) to provide a home for adults with developmental disabilities on their Riverwood and New Hope campuses, 2) to train and motivate congregations in ministering to those with special needs, and 3) to minister to families and people all over the world who are dealing with disabilities.
On their website, it is mentioned that as an independent Christian non-profit organization, they work to improve the lives of people with disabilities by offering services such as housing, job placement, social contact, and spiritual growth.
In line with that, it is also mentioned that they seek collaboration with individuals, churches, and other groups to satisfy the physical and spiritual needs of people with disabilities. They also aim to equip people to successfully ministry by providing training, resources, and encouragement. They also administer two residential homes for persons with impairments, one in Missouri and one in Tennessee.
Following the information found on the same website, they believe that the Bible is God's inspired words and that it is split into two parts: the Old and New Testaments. God's sole and ultimate authority is exemplified by this. They believe in just one genuine and living God, who is represented by the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Living God's Son.
