Calvary Church announced the comeback of its Christmas event for women, which will be held on Friday, Dec. 9, at 6:30 p.m. in Mid Rivers' Calvary Chapel.
Women’s Christmas Gala
Calvary Church encouraged ladies to join its women's Christmas gala. The church provided details through its webpage.
The church shared that the gala, one of the most well-loved traditions at Calvary Church, will return this December. It was said to be an event filled with festive carols, fellowship, and, most notably, a time to remember together Jesus-the Savior, and the true meaning of the holiday.
The mission of the Women’s Ministry at Calvary Church is to love each other and nurture women’s hearts through relationships. It desires to help ladies see themselves as the Lord sees them-beautiful and loved beyond measure.
The ministry offers a place for encouragement and inspiration among women. It provides support through authenticity, vulnerability, and compassion.
Women’s Ministry in Mid River Campus offers studies, classes, and fellowship. It provides opportunities for all women to be part of a group like MOPS, MOMSNext, and Next Chapter, a Ministry for Widows.
Women's Ministry invites all ladies at Calvary Church to Come and Pray Day. Everyone can come to the chapel between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and intentionally pray. Come and Pray is a come-and-go atmosphere.
Some may stay 10 minutes, and some may want to stay longer. There will be worship music playing and a microphone available on stage if someone wants to pray aloud or share a scripture.
The next Come and Pray Day will be on Monday, Dec.4. Come and Pray Day is very informal and programmed. Calvary Church provides a space for all to pray alone, together with someone else, or corporately in the chapel.
About Calvary Chapel
According to its Facebook page, the church has three different campuses in St. Charles County, Missouri. Its Mid Rivers Campus is at 3998 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., Saint Peters.
It said it welcomes all, no matter where they are or what their background is. As shared on the website, Calvary Chapel Mid River Campus is a place to find the grace, love, and mercy Jesus Christ offers all.
Service times are on Saturdays and Sundays at 6 p.m., and 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., respectively.
Calvary Church also has online services live on Sundays at 9 a.m. or On Demand.
Services at Calvary Church usually run for 65 minutes. It includes music, a message, and prayer. Sometimes, it has a creative element or testimony.
Deaf interpretation is available during the services.
Calvary Church celebrates communion during the second and fourth weekends of the month. It also provides opportunities to serve in the church.
One may sign up to be part of the Adult Ministry, Children’s Team, and Community Ministry Team, among others.
