Calvary Church will work with The Covering House and will hold a luncheon with the organization on Sunday, Sept. 25, in Room 208 at 11:45 a.m. The church will begin its partnership with the organization this fall.

The Covering House Luncheon invites all, while Calvary Church provided registration options for Mid Rivers Campus. Lunch will also be provided.
Still, registration is requested. The church also offered childcare with registration as well.
According to its website, The Covering House restores the lives of sexually trafficked youth in America. It offers therapeutic recovery services to survivors of child sex trafficking.
It offers its services in its residential facility and clients' homes within 12 to 15 months. When people donate to The Covering House, donations are applied directly to the care of minor survivors of sex trafficking.
The organization's funds support COVER Care's comprehensive residential and community-based programming. COVER care comprises clinical mental health services, experiential learning, and academic instruction in the home.
Furthermore, COVER Care funds prevention and early intervention for kids and teenagers at risk of sexual exploitation and trafficking in the St. Louis Metro area.
The Covering House's mission is to give refuge and restoration to sexually trafficked kids and teenagers. The organization makes it possible by using the least restrictive environment.
It aspires to provide a safe environment, dignity, and freedom by using top-level staffing and oversight.

The church also asked professional counselors at Restoration counseling to give some resources and encouragement. Calvary Church believes life has always been challenging, and being caught in a pandemic makes life more difficult.
Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a ministry that helps individuals struggling with fear, anxiety, emotions, pain, or unhealthy habits. It reaches out to people and helps them understand and accept the Lord's healing and redemptive power.
The ministry meets on Thursdays at 7 p.m. in the Mid Rivers Campus Chapel.
