Concord Church of St. Louis is encouraging to be part of as they help the homeless people in the St. Louis area through their Homeless Ministry mission program.

Concord’s Homeless Ministry

On the official website of Concord Church under the section for the missions, it is mentioned that this Homeless Ministry aims to give something to the homeless people of St. Louis as well as give them some kindness despite their harsh daily conditions.

In line with that, the church believes that people may find ministering to the homeless to be overwhelming, even frightening at times, yet this is a brutal reality that many people confront on a daily basis.

As stated on the same website, still a group of Concord residents contributes on a regular basis by providing meals twice a month and assisting with other special events and giveaways.

Based on the same website, those individuals who would want to help can drop off some of these items at Concord’s Missions Center:

Adult hats, gloves, scarves, socks, and brand-new undergarments.
Toiletries in travel sizes so it will be easier to carry.
Individually wrapped granola/candy bars and chips, as well as jars of peanut butter and jelly

In line with that, those people who do not have any items to give off can help and take part in this mission in many other ways like volunteering and spending their time together with the whole team to make and pack some lunches or care kits.
